Earthism Part 1 (Intro) Do you agree with Cobb that Christians devote to Earthism and life, not cosmos?

John Cobb Jr. Is pre-eminent theologian and scholar of Process Philosophy based on the work of Alfred North Whitehead.  Cobb is advisor for Church for our Common Home.  I am posting my notes on a book on Earthism, "The Earthist Challenge to Economism", John Cobb Jr., St Martin's Press 1999.

In the Introduction, Cobb lays the case for defining what he calls the dominant paradigm of the late 20th and early 21st century called Economism, which leads to the destruction of the natural world.  Economism is the overarching framework in which consumerism organizes our daily economic life.

Please see my notes to the book in this Google Doc.

My question is:

Do you agree with Cobb that Christians should devote to Earthism and life, not the larger cosmos of galaxies and universe?
